■ IT WAS an even first half, with both cancelling each other out in midfield, Cirencester becoming more frustrated as the half went on and being restricted to longrange efforts, with Willand’s defence stifling the hosts’ attacks and being restricted to quick counter-attacks.
In the second half, after 50 minutes, a Jack Rice corner for Willand was not dealt with by the home defence and was bundled over the line at the far post by Adam Poole.
After this, Cirencester took the game to the visitors, but caused no real threat to George Burton ...
