DARLINGTON edged this drab affair to move into sight of the play-off places.
For those with something to play for it is all about picking up points now, and the Quakers took the one clear chance this game produced to delight their travelling support.
The visitors certainly started much brighter but the game quickly degenerated into an unsightly stalemate, with only half-chances for either side, and these were at a premium.
