A DOUBLE from Greg Taylor kept Spennymoor Town’s play-off hopes alive.
After nine minutes Spennymoor took the lead after Taylor received the ball on the edge of the Curzon box before spinning to get the ball on to his left foot and hitting a low strike that Renshaw could only push into his own net.
Curzon’s first effort came from Alex Curran on 13 minutes as he drove at Spennymoor’s defence and hit a shot from distance that flew high over the crossbar.
