■ IT was all too easy for leaders Bedford as their comprehensive win, coupled with Kempston beating Kidlington, consigned Wantage to relegation.
Wantage held out for nearly half an hour, but a Rory Mc-Auley header put Bedford ahead and it was then a case of how many. Joe Butterworth and Connor Tomlinson made it 3-0 at the break, with Wantage barely getting out their own half.
Second-half goals by Lewis Miccio, Tomlinson, Hugh Alban Jones and Max Bustamante finished it off.
