ST ALBANS ended a seven-match winless streak with victory over fellow play-off contenders Hungerford Town.
The first half was a tightly contested affair with St Albans creating the best opportunities. Two Curtis Angell long throw-ins created chances for the hosts. Kyle Bailey flicked a header narrowly over at the near post before a Jake Evans strike was saved comfortably by Michael Johnson.
