■ CONGLETON TOWN booked their place in the fourth round of the Macron Cup with 4-0 victory over visitors Stafford Town.
And it was Jordan Johnson who led the way, firing in a hat-trick after an own goal had handed the hosts an early advantage.
Through to the second round are Vauxhall Motors after they won 1-0 at West Didsbury & Chorlton, courtesy of a late Ben Holmes penalty -a game watched by 431 spectators.
Bacup Borough needed penalties to win their second round clash at home to Ilkley Town after the sides drew 3-3, the hosts winning the shootout 4-2.
