■ BARKING did all they could on a scrappy day at Tilbury, but there was late heartache when a last-minute goal for Witham at Romford meant they were consigned to relegation.
Barking took the lead after 63 minutes when George Okoye attempted to turn in the area, but was tripped, with the referee pointing to the spot.
Player-manager Charlie MacDonald stepped up and sent Tilbury goalkeeper Jamie Scammell the wrong way from the spot.
