■ EVANS Kouassi netted two late goals as Canvey Island cruised into the North play-off final.
The Gulls made a dream start, taking the lead on two minutes. Conor Hubble’s cross from the right finding Matthew Price, who headed home his 31st goal of the season.
Evans Kouassi hit the foot of the post and Felixstowe defender Samuel Nunn made Canvey pay on 65 minutes when heading his side level.
The game looked to be heading towards extra time, but Kouassi had other ideas.
