Retiring Elokobi gets big send-off

MAIDSTONE UNITED signed off as National League South champions in the best possible manner as goals from George Elokobi and Jerome Binnom-Williams gave the Stones their 14th home win in a row.
A record crowd of 4,175 was at the Gallagher Stadium as defender Elokobi brought his 19-year playing career to an end in style. With 11 minutes played, Elokobi turned out on the right and curled a delightful finish with his left foot into the bottom corner of the net.
