PAUL COOK hailed the importance of the Chesterfield crowd in keeping the Spireites’ promotion dream alive.
The former Portsmouth, Wigan Athletic and Ipswich Town boss saw his new side limp over the line in the seventh and final play-off spot with a nervy 0-0 draw with Woking on Sunday.
And he believes his team will need to fall upon that support again when they make the trip to FC Halifax Town in Tuesday night’s Play-Off Eliminator.
