Pierre pulls off double for Darts

PIERRE Fonkeu’s quick double earned Dartford an opening-day win at Bath.
The debutant, signed on Tuesday, stole in behind the Romans defence twice in five second half-minutes to get new manager Alan Dowson off to a winning start.
It was tough on City who competed well against one of the title favourites, but ultimately paid for two lapses.
An uneventful first half saw City come closest to breaking the deadlock on 44 minutes when the unmarked Jordan Dyer saw his header cleared by the well-placed Sam Odaudu.
