DOVER ATHLETIC claimed their first three points of the embryonic season thanks to Alfie Pavey’s second-half header.
The first chance of the game fell to the visitors, Niko Muir testing Ryan Sandford, who had to make a smart save to deny him.
Adam Liddle teed himself up to attempt an overhead kick which bounced narrowly wide of a post.
Joel Rollinson’s ball across the box came to Curtis Angell at the back post, but the defender couldn’t take the opportunity.
