TAHJAE ANDERSON’S powerful strike was enough to give the home side all three points.
The Chats started on the front foot and were pushing forward early in the game without creating any clear openings.
A good defensive display from East Grinstead frustrated Chatham and although they had plenty of the ball were restricted to long range efforts and final balls easily dealt with.
