GAINSBOROUGH Trinity suffered a first defeat of the season, as Lancaster recorded their first win of the campaign to put the sides level on six points.
A delayed start to proceedings occurred, as the teams emerged from the tunnel in royal blue and purple – and after a near ten minute delay, and a Dolly Blue shirt swap, the game was able to start.
