CITY of Liverpool nfell to defeat at home to Macclesfield on a day where the Purps largely matched their opponents.
The hosts’ George Hassall saw an early effort pushed around a post by on-loan Liverpool goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga
and was again at the centre of the action when he volleyed over.
