Jack’s the lad with double for Swifts

HEYBRIDGE Swifts eased into the next round with almost embarrassing ease and could have won by a bigger margin, such was their dominance from the outset.
An early corner saw Darren Phillips test Tiernan Parker with a free header.
The visitors enjoyed aerial superiority and this was clearly shown when Phillips opened the scoring with a perfectly placed header following a corner after 25 minutes.
Jack Adlington-Pile very nearly made it 2-0 with a low shot, and the hosts failed to respond, with their game characterised by ponderous play and a distinct lack of creativity...
