SLIMBRIDGE and Sholing will have to try again next week after a goalless draw at Thornhill Park.
Slimbridge had a great chance to open the scoring in the 13th minute when Marley Thomas’ shot was handled in the Sholing box but Ben Hands pulled his penalty wide.
Slimbridge were creating the better early chances, and Nathan Dennis and Ethan Dunbar both went close before Owen Roundell saw his header cleared off the Slimbridge line by Thomas.
Sholing started the second half at a higher tempo and Fatah Makholufi brought a good save from Swans keeper Lewis Adams.
