■ KIDLINGTON continue to press leaders Ware after their victory over injury-hit neighbours Thame United.
The only goal came after 16 minutes. Joe Gorman caught a cross and quickly rolled the ball out to Tom Griffiths, who released Connor Mattimore down the right wing. His cross came nicely to Ryan Knight, who headed home.
It wasn’t all one-way traffic and Gorman made a number of good saves, as did his opposite number Josh Hill.
