WELWYN GC staged a storming comeback from 2-0 down to thwart newcomers Highworth Town.
The Citizens were off the pace in a poor first-half which saw Ashley Edenborough chip the keeper for a 27th-minute lead and Felipe Barcelos to double the Wiltshire team’s advantage eight minutes later.
WGC began to show some signs of revival at the end of the half, Carlos Flood hitting a post.
