THE visitors took the game to Bury from the first whistle and wasted no time in getting off the mark with Roman Michael-Percil playing the perfect ball to Brian Moses to put East Thurrock in front early on.
East Thurrock continued to create chances and a curling strike from Harry Hope hit a post. From a similar position, Hope put his effort just wide.
Bury were awarded a penalty for a trip. The decision sent East Thurrock into meltdown and four players were booked. After the melee, Cemal Ramadan shot wide.
