KEMPSTON extended their unbeaten league run at Hillgrounds when they faced FC Romania.
The game had a slow start and was halted for close to ten minutes after Rovers midfielders Dean Dummett and Rafal Wielblad clashed heads.
Emmanuel Dahie replaced Wielblad and his first touch could have been the opener, but his effort was diverted wide.
The deadlock was broken a minute into the second half, Ben Baker finishing at the near post to put the Walnuts in front.
