CIRENCESTER Town secured their first league win of the season as a Joe Shepherd double and Adulai Sambu’s goal gave them a comfortable win against FC Romania.
The goal-scoring took almost the entirety of the firsthalf to begin, but, with nine minutes to go until the break, Shepherd was there to break the deadlock on the cutback.
And that’s when the floodgates opened, with Shepherd netting his second just four minutes later, flicking the ball nonchalantly into the corner following Will Christopher’s inch-perfect pull back.
