BRILLIANT BYCROFT RESCUES REBELS

BOTH sides’ winless league runs were extended to five matches after a disappointing stalemate. Ibrahim Akanbi made a disastrous start to his home debut. His fourth minute spot-kick was saved by Jack Bycroft after Ollie Chamberlain had fouled James Beresford in the box.
The former Dulwich man made amends soon after though when he linked up with Javaun Splatt before firing into the bottom corner to put the hosts a goal up.
