GOALKEEPER Michael Egbene was the hero for the home side as he set up the winning goal before saving a penalty late on to secure all three points for Southall.
It was a hard fought victory for the home side over a difficult Marlow team who came into the game sitting in second place in the table.
The winning goal came after 24 minutes when the impressive Anthony O’Connor latched on to a long ball from Egbene and made no mistake as he fired past the keeper.
