MALDON & TIPTREE got off to the perfect start, scoring twice in the first five minutes.
First the visitors gave away a free-kick and Harvey Sayer stepped up and curled it into the top corner. The home were then awarded another freekick and Sayer repeated his earlier feat to beat everyone.
Mallon made the game safe with a third in the 28th minute after Joe Turpin nodded on another Sayer free-kick and Lance Akins smashed the ball home. Basildon made a triple substitution and started to come into the game, but couldn’t find a way through until th...
