DIDCOT secured their first draw of the season after being held by Thame.
The Red Kites were denied by Jim Glover before the hosts converted with their first meaningful attack.
Winger Josh Hedges kept the ball in play on the right and sent over a high hanging cross that keeper Josh Hill parried into the path of Adam Smith.
Smith, who only signed from Thame three days earlier, kept his cool to convert into the bottom corner.
