HITMAN Carl Grimshaw has hit the remarkable 500-goal landmark for Charnock Richard – and says he’d love to win the Golden Boot this season in case it’s his last.
The 38-year-old scored his 500th and 501st goals for the North West Counties League Premier Division club in Tuesday’s defeat to Squires Gate.
His double levelled the game before 90th-minute heartbreak thanks to Oliver Hesford’s winner for the Blues.
