A LACKLUSTRE Chelmsford City fell to back-toback league defeats for the first time this season.
For the first 20 minutes St Albans were penned back inside their own half.
Tom Blackwell was sent through by Liam Trotter but on loan Norwich keeper Dylan Berry closed down the angle and Blackwell shot into the side netting.
Also inside the first ten minutes, a corner was headed out to the edge of the area and Chelmsford’s Liam Trotter volleyed just wide via a deflection.
