GUTTED Daryl McMahon lamented Dagenham & Redbridge’s “cruel, cruel” exit from the FA Cup on Thursday night after a 95th minute winner from Hakeeb Adelakun earned Gillingham a replay victory and a mouth-watering third round tie with 2021 winners Leicester City.
McMahon’s men led through Matt Robinson’s rifled effort on the quarter-hour before headers from Elkan Baggott and Max Ehmer turned things round for the Gills.
