CHIPPENHAM Town secured their first ever goal and point at Braintree Town as they claimed a share of the spoils in a rather forgetable Thursday afternoon encounter at the Dunmow Group Stadium. Jordan Young gave the Bluebirds the lead six minutes into the second half, only for Kyran Clements to pull the Iron back.
Jack Cawley was sent off for the home side three minutes later but Ryan Maxwell’s men held on for a point to keep them in the play-off mix.
