HEREFORD gave their fans some New Year cheer with their first win since November 12.
Goals by Orrin Pendley and Miles Storey either side of the break were enough to see off a Scarborough side who rarely threatened Dino Visser’s goal.
In an uneventful opening, the sides exchanged long-range efforts with a 20-yarder from Scarborough’s Ryan Watson and a Levi Andoh 30-yarder for Hereford both going narrowly wide.
But on 18 minutes, centre-back Pendley showed a striker’s instinct to turn in the box to fire into the botto...
