■ THIS local derby kicked of in bright sunlight with both teams needing to find some consistency and both middle table or just below.
Sutton had a good chance early on, but Trea Bertie could only hit the side netting.
An attack down the right led to Curtis Pond in the Chasetown goal pulling off a save low to his right. Then, a spectacular long shot from Oli Hayward had Jono Brown in the Sutton goal tipping over.
Sutton opened the second half with a good passing move with the finish just going wide.
