A BITTERLY cold afternoon saw goalmouth action from the off at Bideford as the hosts’ Matty Buchan fed a pass down the right wing to Ben Wood, who evaded a defender to slot a shot under Totton keeper Charles Searle for a 15th-minute opener.
Buchan and Ash Mitchel went close to a second, before Totton’s purple patch saw Ethan Taylor and Luke Hallett denied brilliantly by Adam Seedhouse Evans.
