■ GORLESTON had a couple of half chances in the opening quarter from Jamie North and Dominic Docherty, but it was the visitors who took the lead in the 25th minute when Jack Adlington had space on the left.
Gorleston keeper, Jake Jessup, was slow off his line and Adlington lobbed the ball over him into the net.
Brian Ifeanwi was inches away from making it two before the break.
