STAMFORD kept up the pressure at the top with a win over Chasetown.
Stamford were lucky when Benjamin Lund shot wide for the Chase and unlucky when Cameron Johnson’s snapshot came off a post.
The Daniels took the lead when Connor Bartle found Jonathan Margetts clean through to slot past Curtis Pond. It was soon two with Margetts again played clear. Pond saved his initial shot, but Margetts recovered to slide in from an angle.
Chasetown replied through Aaron Ashford and equalised after the break when Lund volleyed in.
