EBBSFLEET extended their lead at the top to 13 points with a hardfought win over Chelmsford City.
Chelmsford began fast but an excellent set-piece delivery almost caused an opener for Ebbsfleet as Omari Sterling-James’ corner hit the crossbar.
Ebbsfleet dominated the firsthalf possession but Chelmsford came close just before the halfhour when Callum Jones’ wicked cross was headed wide on the stretch by Michael Folivi.
