SLOUGH TOWN picked up a crucial three points on the road as they defeated St Albans City at Clarence Park.
A quiet opening half-hour saw both sides struggle to create openings.
However, the deadlock was broken in the 32nd minute when Scott Davies struck. The midfielder sent a curled free-kick over the wall and past the stranded Michael Johnson.
