■ RAMSGATE moved four points clear after a win at home to VCD Athletic. The win looked routine after goals from Gil Carvalho and Rowan Liburd put the hosts 2-0 up.
But it was a nervy ending after Tolulope Temitayo pulled a goal back for the visitors.
Carvalho put the Rams in front after 23 minutes with the aid of a deflection after a lengthy delay due to an injury to Rams’ new signing Tom Carlse. The hosts finished the half in the ascendancy but couldn’t add to their lead.
But it was 2-0 after 49 minutes with Rams winger Ashley Mill...
