STAMFORD eased past Loughborough with the hard work done in the first 45.
Jonathan Margetts had an early effort blocked on the line and Joe Burgess saw a flying header go wide.
A great passing move, which started from Dan Wallis in goal, saw Stamford carve through Loughborough, before the ball made its way to Harry Vince, who pulled it back for Margetts to score.
Stanford’s second came after good work from Cameron Johnson, who saw his effort cleared off the line for a corner, with the resulting setpiece headed in Margetts.
