■GLOSSOP North End slipped into the automatic relegation spots as a goal from Matthew Fenton 14 minutes from time won the game for 1874 Northwich.
The defender rose highest inside the Glossop penalty area to thump home a header from Joe Woolley’s corner to ensure all three points made the journey back to Mid-Cheshire and, move them up a place into 11th in the league table.
1874 Northwich also had debutant goalkeeper Shea Callister to thank as he made at least three fine saves to deny the Hillmen a goal that would bring them level, the best bein...
