GRESLEY gained a hardfought point in front of a bumper crowd at the Moat ground.
Stamford started strong and a Harry Vince free-kick found Jimmy Blunden, but his header was straight at Lewis Fenny in the Gresley goal.
The Moatmen had their only shot of the game after ten minutes when Dominic Perkins fired from distance but his effort was easily held by Dan Wallis.
