MONTEL Gibson’s far post header from the narrowest of angles spoiled the party for the Seadogs, whose fans had travelled in both number and fancy dress.
Substitute Dom Tear thoought he had started the celebrations ten minutes earlier, scoring with a close-range header from a freekick in the 73rd minute.
The goal tightened the travelling Seadogs’ grip on a play-off place, but Gibson somewhat prised their fingers off it, when he converted Kai Williams’ cross.
