GIBBS’ ROVERS RETURN

RYAN Gibbs has returned to Haverhill Rovers as player-manager of the Eastern Counties League side.
Striker Gibbs turned out for Rovers between 2019-21, before moving to Diss Town, Ely City and Long Melford, before joining brother Jordan at Long Melford last season, scoring 16 goals in 25 games.
He replaces Mark Benterman who resigned as manager of Rovers, a fortnight after agreeing to a new contract.
Dad Rob has also been signed up, as coach, but other brother Liam may take a bit more luring, from Norwich City.
