FARNBOROUGH and Sutton United finished honours even in a friendly that was arranged as part of the deal that took striker Hisham Kasimu to south London at the start of the year.
After a tight and goalless first half, the U’s had the experienced Steve Arnold to thank as the shot-stopper kept out a stinging drive from Adam Mekki, before tipping Ollie Robinson’s bullet header over from the resulting corner.
