GOLFER Matt Southgate is swapping one club for another at The Open this weekend.
Southgate is the chairman of Essex Olympian League side Leigh Ramblers.
And the 34-year-old is competing at Royal Liverpool with the club crest on the side of his shirt, much to the delight of their secretary Richard Ackery.
“Matt wears the Rams badge with pride on the sleeve of his golf shirt so if he goes deep in this year’s competition I’m sure the club will get a mention and hopefully a rise in popularity,” said Ackery.
