Alfie opener not enough for Boro win

BEN MASON’S fifth-minute equaliser was enough to earn Braintree Town a point, despite Alfie Pavey giving the visitors the lead in the opening 40 seconds.
Farnborough were quick out the blocks as soon as the referee got the game underway when Reggie Young was released down the left and found himself in a shooting position, only for the wing back to be fouled inside the area.
