HYDE secured their place in the third qualifying round after a 2-1 victory over Albion Sports, who are two divisions below the hosts.
The home side dominated possession and chances but were made to work hard.
Albion had goalkeeper Stephen Fearnley to thank for a great double save on 26 minutes to keep the scores level.
