GRITTY Stourbridge made the most of the big moments to see off a Matlock side that wilted towards the end of this tense tussle.
The Glassboys flew out of the traps, Brendon Daniels hitting the bar with a bicycle kick from the edge of the box shortly before a fortuitous opener, Alex Prosser driving towards goal from beyond the far post with keeper Saul Deeney fumbling into the net.
