A GOAL either side of half-time from Laurent Mendy and Luke Duffy booked The Silkmen’s place in the next round.
The away team started in the ascendancy and had Macclesfield on the back foot in the opening ten minutes, with Tom Elliott rattling the crossbar in the second minute.
