DARLINGTON finally secured their first home win of the season as they deservedly saw off Workington to advance in the competition.
On a night when Quakers enjoyed the bulk of the possession and the lion’s share of the chances at Blackwell Meadows, they took a 14th-minute lead when captain Tom Platt drilled home.
